About
The Country
Imagine a weekend where the noise flows away, and you are held by one of the most beautiful places in Australia.
You wind through a mountainous landscape into Capertee Valley, Blue Mountains, NSW, breathe in crisp open air, and arrive and meet a community that turns strangers into friends, and friends into family. You fall asleep under the stars, wake to birdsong, and spend your days reconnecting with nature, yourself, and each other at Lovefest.
We bring forth respect, renewal, vitality, honouring and becoming, and walk mindfully. Experience amazing wildlife, including honey eaters (birds), the very rare sugar gliders (possums), kangaroos and wallabies. There are vast lookouts within walking distance to see the sunset and sunrise.
The Spaces
A special community nourishment zone called the Fire Stage has emerged from the land, with live music, open mic, and karaoke, surrounded by markets, many food and drink options including chai, cacao and teas, plus a massage space and a children’s space. We also co create the Water Stage for deep connection to self and others, and the Earth Stage for the sharing of First Nations Peoples culture, dance, movement, singing, and sound journeying.
With the children’s space, young in age and at heart in the air stage, called The Fun Hub, we can learn bushcraft, fire, shelter making, and safe spear throwing, make nature jewellery, play, and more.
With over 40 facilitators, there will be something for everyone.
Indigenous Ceremony
We begin with Wirimbili taking us through a smoking ceremony, Welcome to Country, dance and song, led by Emma Syme, Dabee Country of the Wiradjuri Nation.
Here is the program:

One of Lovefest’s biggest values is that we are all intentionally drug and alcohol free for the weekend during our time together. Why? To deepen connection with community and nature, access more depth that carries into everyday life, and meet on the same wavelength.
It creates a safe space for individuals and families who want a sober environment, supports a heart-led frequency that energises us through natural states of ecstasy, and helps regulate our nervous systems, turning worries of the world into possibilities of love.

Lovefest
We come together to connect, transform, and celebrate, whilst holding the same vision and intention to spread love into the world and take action. We then start to make a difference in our lives and the lives of others.
This then ripples out into the society we live in, positively impacting the community at large and eventually the country and planet.
The 8 Principles of Lovefest are:
1. INNER JOURNEY
2. COMPASSIONATE COMMUNICATION
3. BEING OF SERVICE
4. HUMILITY
5. HARMONY
6. BUILDING COMMUNITY
7. CONNECTION TO LAND
8. CELEBRATION
